Modumu National Park covers an area of 737 square kilometres along the Kwando River. The Park is situated approximately 35 kilometres south of Kongolo, bordered by Botswana to the west, Moshi Conservancy to the north, Sobbe to the east, and the Bolyerwo, Wuparo, and Dzoti Conservancy to the south.
The Park is centred on the Mudumu Molopo fossil river course, s seasonally dry, open channel thot drains the primarily Mopone woodlands of the hinterland to the east.
