This is a genuine heartwarming experience, complete with traditional food and drink served the local way by township residents who are very proud of their establishment.  Here vendors sell their wares and the food is cooked the Zimbabwean way on open fires and in cast iron pots and ovens, giving guests an authentic, wholesome and tasty dining experience.

Dusty Road has a strong sense of place and community running through all aspects of the restaurant.    This is a place with a purpose rooted in female empowerment.  They run a food programme, a mental wellbeing initiative and a children’s programme, all aimed at generating greater opportunities for members of the community.   Guests not only enjoy incredible food but they help Sarah and the Dusty Road team support efforts to improve the livelihoods of the families in the Chinotimba community one delicious meal at a time.
